Project Engineer – H&H
Duties:
- Perform Hydrologic and Hydraulic analysis with SWMM/HEC-RAS/ HEC-HMS for drainage project based on applicable standards
- Perform utility conflicts review
- Perform quantity take-offs and develop cost estimates
- Prepare & Submit Report and Present findings with recommendations
- Detention Pond design and Interconnected Pond Routing Analysis with complex outlet structures.
- Assisting Project Manager in preparing proposal and schedule for drainage projects
- Perform CAD/MicroStation drawings
- Perform QA/QC of drawings and reports
- Coordinate with Client/Subconsultants if needed
- Attend progress meetings and prepare meeting minutes
Supervise 1-4 Junior Engineers or Graduate Engineers.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and 5 years’ industry experience with XPSWMM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, or Master’s degree and 3 years’ in same fields. Must have experience in Detention Pond design, Interconnected Pond Routing Analysis with complex outlet structures, preparing scope and fee proposals, and scheduling for drainage projects.
Graduate Engineer – Site Development
Responsibilities:
- Applies standard design engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
- Prepares construction drawings for pavement, grading, drainage, utilities, detention etc. including hydraulic and hydrologic calculations, and specifications for site/land development projects.
- Able to draw surfaces, existing and proposed contours by using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Able to draw road plan and profile by using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Able to automate the control points from the 3D model.
- Quantity take-off and prepare cost estimates.
- Identifying utility conflicts and resolving them.
- Maintains quality parameters per set company processes, and to meet clients’ expectations.
- Able to handle multiple projects & tasks
- Other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications:
- B.S. or M.S. in civil engineering with at least 1-3 years of experience since graduation.
- EIT Certification, motivated to take Professional Engineer license in State of Texas
- Highly Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Familiarity with Site modelling (underground pipes and structures, detention ponds, roads, building pad etc.)
- Excellent communications skills both oral and written.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with coworkers, clients, and public agency officials.
- Ability to work interdependently within a team environment.
- Knowledge of MicroStation, OpenRoads, Geopak a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with document control systems used in the AEC industry (ProjectWise, Aconex, SharePoint, eBuilder etc.) a strong plus.
Civil/Graduate Engineer – Water Resources/Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H)

Isani Consultants, L.P. is seeking a Water Resources/H&H Graduate Engineer to assist in applying engineering expertise in H&H modeling, engineering reports, preparing plans, specifications and estimate (PS&E).
Additional responsibilities of the H&H Engineer include:
Performing various aspects of drainage/water resources projects including:
- Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) Analysis Modeling
- Plan and profiles
- Storm drainage design, peak flow and other drainage computations
- Conceptualizing the initial design approach for all phases of drainage/water resources projects
- Assisting with the preparation of engineering reports, plans and specifications for drainage projects
- Coordinating with project team members to ensure the successful completion of drainage assignments
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- EIT/PE Certification
- 1-3 years of experience in the field of Civil Engineering

Senior Site Development Civil Engineer
Responsibilities
- Applies standard design engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.

- Reviews the work of drafting personnel to assure accuracy and conformance to design requirements.
- Prepares proposals, manpower estimates, schedule, and project budgets.

- Maintains quality parameters per set company processes, and to meet clients’ expectations.
- Able to handle multiple projects & tasks, with varying levels of roles and responsibilities.
- Attends meetings with the Client for project review and coordination.
- Experienced in Construction Phase Services.
- Ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and all other project consultants.
- Other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications:
- B.S. or M.S. in civil engineering with at least 5-8 years of experience since graduation.
- Licensed professional engineer in State of Texas (must be licensed).
- Highly Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

- Design for large diameter water line, water system, wastewater and storm water system
- Prepare storm water pollution prevention draft plans and reports
- Prepare storm water quality management draft plans
- Perform draft quantity take-offs
- Develop draft cost estimates for projects
- Coordinate projects with applicable public and private agencies
- Apply QA/QC protocol while developing studies and plans
- Provide internal and external QC comments to management
